Our Project Approach Learning Program is for highly motivated learners. Through Brainstorming, Investigation and Reflection, the program allows learners to embark on in-depth studies of topics of their choice, explore various resources for learning, and construct representations of their discoveries.
We will provide potential topics for investigation, and give the students certain limiting factors. The idea is to simulate a real research situation, with real constraints such as those posed by space and equipment limitations, as well as a realistic budget. Going through the steps of brainstorming and preliminary research, students will come to a consensus on the research question. We will then work with the children to design their investigations, including end-points of success. The project will conclude with a well-prepared presentation. If it is appropriate for the topic of investigation, we will arrange for a field trip.
Students are expected to be independent in character and able to communicate fluently in English.
