Science Workshop® is proud to launch our new Math Strategies Program this August in addition to our regular Summer Odyssey.  We are a co-sponsor along with the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) of the USA Team to the China Girl's Mathematical Olympiad.

MSRI, which is located in Berkeley, partnered  with Zuming Feng, the coach of both the USAMO and GMO teams, to establish and support the USA teams.  The team trains at the Mathematics Olympiad Summer Program (MOSP) along with the USA International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) team.   We have the honor to have USAMO and GMO Team Head Coach Zuming Feng, GMO Deputy Leader Jennifer Iglesias and the current USAGMO Team Members to be our leading lecturers for this program.

In this program, you will get the inside scoop on how to tackle challenging and prestigious international mathematical competition problems.  You will learn intense competition strategies or just brush up on core mathematical skills.  Not only will we help you develop systematic methods for problem-solving rather than memorizing formulas, you will also learn the structures behind mathematical questions.

With engaging and hands-on teaching style, our summer seminar will combine lectures with problem-solving practices.  The classes weave together knowledge, skills and techniques useful for all levels of mathematical understanding and competitions.

Don't miss the chance to  gain the following skills:

Improve mathematical intuition!

Develop critical thinking abilities!

Expand understanding of mathematical processes!

Assemble problem-solving techniques!
