This is a child-development-based learning program for science and mathematics through a variety of hands-on learning experiences. Our young learners will work in a stimulating environment using interesting materials and real life objects that will enhance their learning development. They will also be exposed to activities to develop their gross and fine motor skills.
Under the guidance of our facilitators, our two-year-old learners will journey into the natural world around us. Through exploring their environment, a touch, a smell, or some physical contact will eventually become an idea as the intellect creates abstraction through the senses.
Mathematics Activities
Learners will be exposed to a wide range of mathematic activities that are intertwined with science topics. These activities can give them a sensorial “feel” for numerical properties.
Science Activities
Topics consist of hands-on open-ended activities that are mainly in physical and biological sciences. Our toddlers will explore magnets, light, color and physical properties. They will investigate things that move. As children are especially fascinated with their bodies, special units of the human body will be available. Water, one of children's favorite past time, will be a part of the program. Our young children will observe animals, as well as parts of plants. Real specimens will be used as much as possible and we will help children learn respect for and care of all living things. Our learners will also investigate our globe of land and water.
